Update Hold/Permission form (Edit mode)

You can use this form to edit an existing hold/permission from the Inspector Holds/Perms tab for various entities.

You can use the Update Hold/Permission form to edit the Reference ID and Note field for an active/released hold or a granted/canceled permission for an entity. However, you cannot use this form to edit a permission with the Status = Required. You can edit the hold/permission for the following entities in N4:

• Units

• Bills of Lading

• Train Visits

• Rail Orders

• Vessel Visits

• Bookings

• EDOs

• ELOs

• EROs

To edit a hold/permission:

1. From the Holds/Perms tab, select the hold/permission that you want to edit.

2. Click .

If you have not selected a hold or permission or if the status of the selected permission is Required, N4 disables the button.

3. Edit the values displayed in one or both of the following fields as required:

• Reference ID

• Note

4. Click Save.
